The Benton Scholarship Foundation (BSF) presented 116 scholarships totaling $94,700 to Benton Community High School graduates at the BSF’s 25th annual senior awards program on May 8. Class of 2019 recipients are listed below.

BSF’s mission is to help provide higher education for Benton graduates through the earnings on endowed funds and direct scholarships from the generous donations from businesses, patrons and friends of Benton Community in the form of scholarships. The foundation awarded its first scholarship in 1991. Since then, 1,344 scholarships totaling more than $ 959,950 have been awarded to Benton Community High School seniors.

The Benton Scholarship Foundation is affiliated with Scholarship America Dollars for Scholars® to bring the Benton Scholarship Foundation Dollars For Scholars to our community. This partnership links our community to nearly 1,000 Dollars for Scholars programs operating across the country, which collectively award more than $41 million to 40,000 students annually.
