- Receive the bids for a new city pick up. Discuss for acceptance one of the bids for a new city pick up.
- BPCDC Report: Morgan Mitchell
- Police Report: Chief Hudson will not be in attendance as he is in Crisis Intervention Training all week.
- Discuss for approval the closing of Main Street (12th Street) from 9th avenue to 10th avenue every Friday starting June 1st to September 30 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm for the Farmers Market.
- Discuss for approval the renewal of a Class B Native Wine Permit (WBN) with outdoor service for Cornerstone Apothecary at 731 12th Street, Belle Plaine, Iowa.
- Discuss for possible approval resolution #19-5-3: a resolution to set a public hearing on June 3, 2019 at 6:00 pm for the city council to consider the vacation of the alley located at “The North-South Alley lying North of 11th Street between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue, adjoining Lot Five (5) in Blossom’s Second Addition to Belle Plaine, Iowa.” (Deals with the property located at 110 11th Street.)
- Discuss for possible approval resolution 19-5-4: a resolution on setting a public hearing on delinquent animal licenses.
- Consideration of a motion to approve the application of Joel Hanzelka for tax abatement under the Belle Plaine Revitalization Plan. (904 9th avenue – new addition, new siding, remodeled old housing structure, & new steel roof.)
- City Administrators Report: Discuss the Incentive Grant Program.
- Mayor’s Report: Meeting Report: Landfill, Streets with League of Cities, & Census.

- Consideration of a motion to enter into Closed Session – Iowa Code 21.5 concerning the city administrator’s evaluation. (Roll call vote necessary)
Iowa Code 21.5 (1) (i) To evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance, discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual’s reputation and that individual requests a closed session. - Motion to come out of closed session.
- Motion & proposal on the actions to be taken from closed session.
