Benton County Community Foundation to Award Over $114,000 in Grants at Ceremony

What: The Benton County Community Foundation is holding its 2019 grant awards ceremony on Tuesday, July 30 at the Van Horne Community Center. The event begins with a social gathering at 5:30 p.m. with the grant award ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Community Foundation will be awarding $114,599 to 35 nonprofits and government entities providing services to Benton County and its communities.

Why: The Benton County Community Foundation will be awarding grants to nonprofit projects in the areas of art and culture, community betterment, education, environment, health, historic preservation, and human service. The projects receiving grants are meeting critical needs in Benton County and improving the quality of life for all people. A brief description of each project will be presented for those attending to understand the impact of the work of our nonprofit community.
