VINTON – The roar of engines will circle the Benton County Speedway in Vinton one more time before the year draws to a close.

‘Thunder in the Bullring’ will be held Saturday, September 28, with racing to begin at 6 p.m. The event presented by Specialty Racing Promotions will be featuring races in the following classes: IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Hobby Stocks, Compacts and Micro Mods.

Gates will open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand will open at 4 for spectators to start arriving. For those interested, there will also be camping available on the fairground that evening.

“There will be staff available to tech all cars that evening,” Rick Dripps, Speciality Racing Promotions, stated.

Mark the calendar and plan to join friends and family for racing under the lights one last time this season.
