Class 1A Region 6
Belle Plaine opens Class 1A volleyball tournament action on Monday, Oct. 18, when they host Lynnville-Sully. They play the winner of the No. 12 North Tama vs. Meskwaki on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. On the other side of the bracket are Montezuma, Twin Cedars, North Mahaska and Melcher-Dallas. Also in Region 6 are HLV, Hillcrest Academy, Sigourney, Tri-County, Iowa Valley, BGM, No. 4 Lisbon and Sigourney.
The semifinal is Monday, Oct. 25, at North Tama, and the final is Wednesday, Oct. 27, at a site to be determined.
Class 4A Region 6
Benton Community hosts Grinnell on Tuesday, Oct. 19. The winner faces No. 11 Clear Creek Amana on Thursday, Oct. 21 at Tiffin. On the other end of the bracket are Boone, Gilbert and No. 5 Marion. The final is Friday, Oct. 29 at a site to be determined.
