Belle Plaine, Iowa

The Belle Plaine City Council met on February 27, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in special session in the council chambers with Mayor Dave Fish presiding. Present: Judy Schlesselman, Lyle Morrow, and Mary Pech. Also present: City Attorney Jennifer Zahradnik and City Clerk Sandra Walton. Garrett Landuyt and Mitch Malcolm were absent.

Motion by Schlesselman, seconded by Pech to approve the consent agenda. On roll call vote, all voted aye, motion carried.

Morrow made a motion, seconded by Pech to approve Change Order #2 and final payment to WRH for the sewer basin project. On roll call vote, all voted Aye, motion carried.

Morrow made a motion, seconded by Pech to approve Resolution #23-03-01; a resolution authorizing an interfund load transfer from the Economic Development Operating Fund to the Sewer Fund with semi-annual payments at 0.5% for 5 years. On roll call vote, all voted Aye, motion carried.

Motion by Schlesselman to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Morrow. On roll call vote, all voted aye. The meeting adjourned at 3:17 p.m.
