Jack Schwenn was 2 for 4 with a double and three RBIs. Will Sankot was 1 for 3 with two RBIs. Nate Hoover was 1 for 3 with two RBIs. Brock Dodd was 1 for 3. Scoring three runs each were Timm and Alcott. The team had three walks and three strikeouts. Belle Plaine stole six bases, with one steal each from Timm, Alcott, Schwab, Hoover, Parrott and courtesy runner Hunter Henry. The team had no errors. Keota had three errors.
Parrott threw for four innings and picked up the win, allowing two hits, three earned runs, walking three and striking out 11. Alcott threw for one inning, allowed one hit, no runs and struck out two.

Abbie Sieck was 2 for 5 with five RBIs. Scoring three runs each were Hosek and Jacey Reineke. The team had five walks and three strikeouts. Belle Plaine stole nine bases. Reineke stole three and Brannaman stole two. The team had one error. Winning pitcher Sankot threw for seven innings, allowed no hits, one earned run, walked two and struck out 13.

Belle Plaine hosts BCLUW (4-2) on Thursday, June 1, and travels to Lynnville-Sully (2-6) on Friday, June 2. On Saturday, Belle Plaine had a tournament and faces Springville (2-5) at 10 a.m. They also face Vinton-Shellsburg (2-6).
