Belle Plaine picked up a non-district in eight-man football on Friday, Aug. 25, at Van Horne.

Belle Plaine had one yard passing. Ty Alcott was 1 for 2. Aidan Timm was 0 for 3.

They rushed for 421 yards. Wade Sankot had 11 carries for 66 yards and one touchdown. Adyson Stark had seven carries for 49 yards. Timm had six carries for 54 yards and one touchdown for 20 yards. Sam DeMeulenaere had one rush for 19 yards. Alcott had 16 carries for 116 yards and one touchdown. Lane Vokoun had eigh caries for 106 yards and two touchdowns, the longest being a 40-yard run. Jeremy Reineke had seven carries for 21 yards and three touchdowns.

Sankot had one catch for one yard.

Sankot had eight total tackles with five solo. Jax Stamp had six total tackles with four solo. Reineke had six total tackles with five solo.

Recovering one fumble each were Derek Kressley, Vokoun, and Sankot. Stamp recovered two, with one resulting in a touchdown.
Stark had one kick return for 15 yards. Timm returned one for three yards. Vokoun returned on punt for 16 yards. Kressley had six kickoffs for 145 yards. Riley Simmons had four kickoffs for 161 yards and two touchbacks. With one two-point conversion each were Stark, Reineke and Quentin O’Leary.

HLV passed for 65 yards and rushed for 12 yards.
