They had 25 rebounds, 14 assists, two steals, four turnovers and 14 fouls. Peyton Roth led HLV with 25 points.

Wyatt Kuch had 25 points for Benton. Adding 16 each were Sam DeMeulenaere and Riley Simmons. Simmons had 14 rebounds. Jax Stamp added 12. Simmons had seven assists and one steal. Stamp blocked one shot.

On Monday, Feb. 12, Belle Plaine (15-6) hosts Iowa Valley (9-13) in the first round of the Class 1A Region 6 basketball tournament.
