Kids and Pinecones
January 20th we held an event for our kids to learn about helping wildlife during the winter. Bruce Volz was our guest speaker and talked about habitat for wildlife – birds in
particular. Then the kids got to dig into some peanut butter and make
pinecone feeders that they could take home and hang.
We rounded out the day reading “There’s a Bird on
Your Head” by Mo Willems. Wyatt Nelson read the part of Piggie and
Susie read Elephant’s part!
