Iowa in the Movies
You are invited to a fun-filled afternoon of reminiscing and learning about some iconic films that feature Iowa connections on Sunday, March 24, at 2:00 p.m. at the English Valleys History Center at 108 N. Main in North English.
Based on The Book of Iowa Films by Marty Knepper and John Lawrence from Morningside College in Sioux City, this program will briefly touch upon a few of over 400 films that are discussed in this book, each one with a clear connection with the state of Iowa.
Presented by Scott and Bonnie Romine of North English, these two former high school English teachers have enjoyed movies for years. They will be sharing a few movie memories and clips with us that day.
With free admission, all are invited to attend. Donations are appreciated.
