Carson Nolan was 8 of 16 for passing for 98 yards and one touchdown pass to Logan Upah for 66 yards. Benton rushed for 203 yards. Brody Timmerman had one rush for 19 yards. NOlan had nine carries for 39 yards. Dylan LeFebvere had 18 carries for 137 yards and two touchdowns. Elias Bieschke had four carries for eight yards. Timmerman had six catches for 27 yards. Evan Martin had one catch for five yards. Blayke Heying had 11.5 total takcles with nine solo. Logan Upah had nine solo tackles. LeFebvere had nine total tackles. Tory Kupka added 8.5 total tackles with six solo. He had one sack.

Upah had two kickoff returns for 47 yards. Timerman had one return for 15 yards. Heying had one return for four yards. Upah had one punt return for four yards. Elijah Kupka had four kickoffs for 201 yards. He was 3 for 3 on extra points. He had six punts for 233 yards, averaging 38.8 yards.

Solon passed for 273 yards, led by Ty Bell, who was 19 of 33 for one touchdown. Solon rushed for 111 yards, led by Einar Stecher with 41 yards.

Comments from Coach Jeff Zittergruen: It was awesome for our kids to see their hard work during the week pay off with a win against a really good football team. We got off to a great start to the game with an early score and then were able to make enough plays defensively to give ourselves a chance at the end. We are really proud of our guys ability to stay tough throughout the game and execute a big play when we needed it. Next week, we will see another really quality football team in Grinnell and will need to have another good week in preparation.
