Coach Jeff Zittergruen said: For the past four weeks our kids have embraced our goal of making every game a hard-nosed, physically grinding game. We were able to execute at a high level in all phases of the game with our special teams playing a huge role in establishing field position. Our regular season goal was to contend for a district title and for our team to be able to reach that goal in one of the most difficult 3A districts in the state is an awesome accomplishment. Our community support has been awesome at our home games all year long and for our athletes to be able to share that experience with everyone on Friday was pretty cool.

As we move forward into the playoffs, our goal is to continue to focus on what we need to do to improve this week. We will be hosting a very good Solon team on Friday and will need to have another solid week of preparation for that opportunity on Friday.
