City Council Regular Meeting
Monday, March 10, 2025 – 6:00 PM
Mayor Boddicker opened the regular meeting at 6:00 PM.
Roll Call: Council Present: Messner, Cross, Rinderknecht, Seeck
Approval of the Agenda: Motion by Seeck, 2nd Rinderknecht approving the agenda, all present yes, motion carried.
Department Reports:
Public Works: Hawkeye Fire was here and performed the annual maintenance to the city fire extinguishers; Water tower door was damaged from the wind and will need to be replaced; sewer main backed up on 5th Street – Kenway came and cleared it, house in town had it backed up in their basement, EMC heard from Kenway and determined it was a issue in the city line that caused the backup in the customers basement and EMC will cover the damages.
Parks: Rec’d a $5000 grant for maintenance work to ballfield.
Consent Agenda and Bill Consent: Motion by Seeck, 2nd by Cross to approve the minutes from February 24, 2025, and bills
totaling $17,793.20, all present aye, motion carried.

Council Action:
A. Motion by Messner, 2nd by Rinderknecht setting the public hearing for Monday, March 24
th at 6:00 PM approval of the FY26 Proposed Property Tax Levy, all yes, motion carried.
B. Amendment to Kluesner Sanitation contract tabled.
C. Motion by Cross, 2nd by Messner approving EMC and changing the deductible from $2500 to $10,000 all yes, motion carried.
Adjournment: At 6:37 PM, Seeck moved to adjourn, Messner 2nd, all present aye motion carried.
