BLAIRSTOWN COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS –July 14, 2025

The regular meeting of the Blairstown City Council was held Monday, July 14, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. Members present were Metz, Hagen, Becker and Dellamuth. Absent: Davidson.

Meeting was called to order by Mayor Kubichek.

Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Dellamuth to approve the agenda as read. All Ayes.

Motion made by Metz, seconded by Hagen to approve the June 9th minutes. All Ayes.

Motion made by Metz, seconded by Dellamuth to approve the June Financial Reports. All Ayes.

Motion made by Dellamuth, seconded by Metz to approve the following submitted and added bills. All Ayes.

The monthly Library Report was given.

The monthly Ambulance Report was given.

The monthly First Responders Report was given.

The monthly Emergency Service Station update was given.

Motion made by Metz, seconded by Dellamuth to approve a building permit for Josh Wilkins for decks with penalty. All Ayes.

Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Metz to approve a building permit for Jake Rabe for a building. All Ayes.

The monthly Maintenance Report was given. Motion made by Metz, seconded by Dellamuth to enter into a lease with Manatt’s for a cleanout bunker. All Ayes. Filter media replacement was tabled until the next meeting.

The monthly Fire Report was given. Motion made by Metz, seconded by Dellamuth to approve the transfer of money from the Fire Department reserve account to purchase a new grass truck. All Ayes.

Motion made by Dellamuth, seconded by Metz to approve Resolution 25-08: Employee Wages. All Ayes.

Discussion was held about vehicles and drainage in town.

No further business, meeting adjourned at 7:24 p.m.
