NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

A public hearing will be held by the Benton County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, at 9:15 A.M. in the Conference Room, at the Benton County Service Center, located at 811 D Ave, Vinton, IA, to consider a request for permission approval for a non-agricultural land use on the following generally described property: A part of the Northwest One-Fourth (NW1/4) of the Southeast One-Fourth (SE1/4) of Sec 28, T84N, R9, West of the 5th P.M.

The purpose of the request is to change the status of the approximate two (2) acres to a non-agricultural use. Specifically: For a residential use.

The applicant is: Jonathan Kaine/Tasha Ritchart, 6668 30th Ave Dr, Shellsburg, IA 52332

You may appear if you so desire either in person or by agent or attorney, in opposition to or support of the proposed change of land use, or you may submit written comments.

The purpose of the request is to change the status of the approximate one (1) acre to a non-agricultural use. Specifically: for a residential use.

The applicant is: Dennis & Barbara Garling, 1261 77th St Dr, Belle Plaine, IA 52208
