SPORTS: BP hosts Colo-Nesco in 8-man football on August 29

Aidan Timm was 6 of 9 for passing for 85 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Belle Plaine rushed for 264 yards. Peyton Dostal rushed four times for 67 yards with a 50-yard touchdown run. Wade Sankot had four carries for 22 yards. Timm had 22 carries for 175 yards and two touchdowns, one being a run for 65 yards. 

Dostal had three catches for 21 yards. Wade Sankot had three carries for 64 yards and one 35-yard touchdown catch.

Will Sankot had eight solo tackles. Timm added six solo tackles and Derek Kressley had for solos. Dostal had two punts for 50 yards. Ivan Hamilton had one punt for 34 yards.

Belle Plaine (0-2) hosts Iowa Valley (2-0) on Friday, Sept. 5, at Douglas Field at 7 p.m. 

The Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, game at Lone Tree has been canceled.
