Benton Coach Jeff Zittergruen said, “Friday we were able to execute pretty well on both sides of the ball. Offensively we had some good balance between the run and pass. Defensively, we were able to apply some decent pressure looks and took advantage by creating a couple of turnovers. Our special teams did a really good job of establishing field position throughout the game.

“This week in our last non-district game we are continuing to try to work for improvement in all parts of the game as we prepare for another good opponent in Solon. We want to be playing at a high level as we work into the second half of the season.
