Carson Nolan was 12 of 14 in passing for 207 yards, with two touchdowns. The team rushed for 293 yards. Nolan carried for 16 times for 174 yards and two touchdowns. Kaiser Townsley had one rush for three yards. Elias Bieschke had 17 carries for 93 yards and four touchdowns. Kaden Wright had four carries for 23 yards.

Brody Timmerman had three catches for 19 yards. Owen Von Ahsen had four catches for 87 yards and one 60-yard touchdown. Bieschke had two catches for 40 yards. Eli Patterson had three catches for 61 yards and one 24-yard touchdown. Kaden Mithell had 6.0 total tackles. Grant Volesky had 5.0 total tackles. Brody Timmerman had 5.0 total tackles with five solo tackles.

Mitchell forced one fumble. He also had one interception with a five-yard return. Gabe Pugh had one kickoff return for 34 yards. Timmerman had one return for 21 yards. Owen Von Ahsen had one return for 18 yards. Colton Croneman had one return for four yards. Von Ahsen had one punt return for no yards. Drew Ballard had nine kickoffs with three touchbacks for 470 yards. He was 6 of 6 for points after touchdown. Patterson had one punt for 35 yards. He also had one one two-point conversion.

Iowa Falls-Alden was 18 of 32 for passing for 266 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. They rushed for 202 yards.

Coach Jeff Zittergruen’s comments: We played really well offensively on Friday night and were able to really establish our run game and get some big chunks in the passing game.

Defensively, in the second quarter we got a little bit sloppy and they were able to hit some big plays. We settled in a little bit at halftime and were able to get out of there with a good win.

We are really excited to be able to get another week with these guys playing football. Solon will be a really quality opponent and we are excited for the opportunity on Friday night.
