City Council Regular Meeting
November 10, 2025 – 6:00 PM
Mayor Boddicker opened the regular meeting at 6:00 PM.
Roll Call: Council Present: Wendel, Messner. Seeck, Rinderknecht
Approval of the Agenda: Motion by Wendel, 2nd by Messner approving the agenda, all present aye, motion carried.
Department Reports:
Public Works: New ceiling fans are being installed at the Main Park Pavilion
City Clerk: Sage Advice inquired about a fall cleanup in the bump outs and at the parks; Keri will let them know to come out one more time before winter.
Consent Agenda and Bill Consent: Motion by Rinderknecht, 2nd by Seeck to approve the minutes of October 27, 2025, and bills totaling $33,076.97, all present aye, motion carried.

- Council Action
- Motion by Seeck, 2nd by Messner approving a new printer for the city, (Model IM C3000 from EO Johnson out of Cedar Rapids for $3,495.00 with a monthly service agreement of $36.85 that includes toner, service and parts) all present yes, motion carried.
- Several homes in town have acted on requests from the city and are following city ordinances. Reviews will continue in the spring.
Adjournment: At 6:20 PM, Seeck moved to adjourn, Messner 2nd, all present aye motion carried.

a. Trugreen – Annual maintenance quote and adding grub control
b. FY25 Annual Financial Report
c. Moving December 8, 2025, meeting to December 15, 2025, and cancelling December 22nd meeting due to holidays and vacations.
d. Confirm new council, Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief will be present at December 15th meeting to be sworn in for next 2 year term that will begin Friday, January 2nd
e. Atkins CD’s maturing:
i 10/11/2025 – $282,809.84 (CD 13306)
ii 10/3/2025 – $224,392.45 (CD 13304)
iii 11/19/2025 – Approximately $52,101.96 (CD 13747) – move to general fund checking.
This CD was from Benton County LOST for fire truck – but didn’t mature until after the
check for the fire truck was sent – funds were used from General Fund checking until
CD’s maturity.
iv $10,000 in Fire Savings – Start a new CD for Fire. - Adjourn * pursuant to 21.4(2) of the Code of Iowa (2001), the City has the right to amend this agenda up to 24 hours before the posted meeting time
