BLAIRSTOWN COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS –January 12, 2026

The regular meeting of the Blairstown City Council was held Monday, January 12, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

Members present were Moenck, Hagen and Franzen. Absent: Becker. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Metz.

Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Hagen to approve the agenda as read. All Ayes.

Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Moenck to approve the December 8th minutes. All Ayes.

Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Moenck to approve the December Financial Reports. All Ayes.

Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Franzen to approve the following submitted and added bills. All Ayes.

Motion made by Hagen, second-ed by Moenck to approve a $200 donation to Benton County Extension for the Summer Science Discovery Program. All Ayes

Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Franzen to approve the Sheriff’s contract. All Ayes

Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Franzen to approve Hagen as Mayor Pro Tem. All Ayes.

Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Hagen to approve the following council appointments: Benton Development Group: Metz City Clerk: McNulty City Attorney: Wagner Landfill Commission: McNulty. All members voting Aye.

Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Moenck to publish council vacancy notice. All Ayes.

Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Franzen to approve the replacement of the sidewalk in front of the community building. All Ayes.

No further business, meeting a journed at 7:35 p.m.
