SAVE THE DATE–2026 BENTON COUNTY RELAY FOR LIFE

Sunday, May 31st, 2026—SAVE THE DATE!! That is the date for the Benton County Relay For Life at 7:30 PM at the Benton Community MS/HS track in Van Horne. Every one of us has been touched by cancer in some way. Friends, relatives, caregivers, survivors – we can all use our special passion to help the American Cancer Society save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

It is the time of year to come together and cheer on the survivors in our community. It is time to thank the caregivers who support our loved ones. It is the time to remember and honor those we have lost to cancer. And it is time to lend our voices to the rallying cry to stop cancer in its tracks. Quite simply: it is time for Relay For Life! At Relay For Life no donation is too small; each and every dollar counts! Your donations help fund groundbreaking cancer research, patient care programs, and can make a difference in communities like ours. With every donation, you are helping the American Cancer Society save lives!

The 2026 Benton County Relay For Life will be held Sunday, May 31st at the Benton Community High School track, 600 1^st Avenue, Van Horne at 7:30 PM. Please attend again this year if you have ever attended before. And please consider attending this year if you have never attended a relay. Another way to support Relay is to purchase luminaria—each one represents a life and shines in remembrance, in hope, or in triumph. Luminaria can be purchased at Relay on May 31st, or luminaria can be purchased ahead of the relay by contacting Ev Wiebke at (319)228-8974.
