Benton County Supervisors, Republican, District 1
Lance Scott Lillibridge

After High School I worked for Proctor And Gamble for nearly 5 years. Went back to work on farm and then entered the Trucking Industry. With encouragement from close friends, and now Wife Heidi, I started my own Company. The Company grew and we Started a 3rd party Logistics Company to compliment the Asset side of the business. Like I didn’t have enough to do I purchased 80 acres and started to build homes on what is known as North Field Ranch.
At the same time we started our farming operation here in Benton County. After serious consideration and a great offer we sold the development. A few years later we had the opportunity to sell the Transportation Business and focus on our Family and our Farm. The Timing was perfect for our kids to experience what work ethic is by raising livestock and showing livestock all over the Midwest. I was elected to the Iowa Corn Growers Association as director for District 6 and after serving 3 years was elected into the executive rotation.
Executive duties included Vice President, President, Chairman. I have fulfilled my duties and currently am a director at large. My term ends in August.
I have a background of dealing with people from all over the world, I believe 18 different countries have been represented right here on our farm in Benton County. I have developed relationships with State and Federal leaders along with Presidential candidates and their staff.
I am also currently working on a project with NASA. This maybe the most exciting thing I have
done in my agriculture career. In July last year 15 individuals from NASA visited Benton County for two days including the Director of NASA Earth Sciences/Observation.
I believe I will make Benton County proud. I will not let dollars be spent frivolously. I will also strive to restore morale within county government. I will bring positive results and fiscal responsibility is what you will get, with a vote for Lillibridge.
