The Iowa High School Athletic Association announced Class 1A Pairings for boys’ basketball.

Belle Plaine is in District 6. Belle Plaine hosts Waterloo Christian on Feb. 20 at 8 p.m. At 6:30 p.m. at Belle Plaine, Don Bosco plays the winner of the Dunkerton vs. Valley Lutheran game, which is set for Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. at Dunkerton. The winners play at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 25 at Alburnett. The district final is Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. at Union High School, LaPorte City. On the other side of the bracket are Iowa Valley, Cedar Valley Christian, Alburnett, Wapsie Valley, and Gladbrook-Reinbeck.

Class 1A District 6 Pairings

The District 6 champion plays the District 5 champion on Feb. 29 at 7 p.m., at a site to be determined. In District 5 are Central City, Clayton Ridge, East Buchanan, Easton Valley, Edgewood-Colesburg, Maquoketa Valley, Marquette Catholic, Prince of Peace and Starmont.
