In these trying times with the derecho and the pandemic, I must apologize. I just have not been keeping up with the Kardashians. And it appears I’m too late. I’m sorry.
Meanwhile, I’m again keeping up with a resilient school district who, in the span of a few days, lost two students to traffic accidents. Benton Community has a lot on its plate right now already. I’ve seen this school and community come together to meet challenges.
We will always support each other, six feet apart and with masks. This is as Benton, as well as Belle Plaine, go into their homecoming week celebrations.
We will see the best in people. Around here, we see that all of the time. Let’s see a rich celebrity television family keep up with that.
