COUNCIL PROCEEDING

January 6, 2021

6:00 pm

The regular meeting of the Keystone City Council was held Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at 6:00 pm. Roll Call members present: K.Janss, Kaiser, Upah; Behrens and Kruse were in attendance via Zoom. Absent: none. Also Present: Jamey Clemann, Keystone EMS, Dave Monson, City Superintendent and Tyler Franzenburg attended at the City Hall. Mayor Erin Janss called the meeting to order.

Motion made by Kruse, second by Behrens to approve the December 2020 minutes. Motion carried. All voted aye.

Motion made by Janss, second by Kruse to approve the December Treasurer Report. Motion carried. All voted aye.

Motion made by Upah, second by Kruse to approve Resolution 01-01-21 assess property at 305 3rd Avenue, Keystone for an unpaid water bill. Motion carried. All voted aye.

Motion made by Janss, second by Kaiser to approve Resolution 01-02-21 assess property at 214 1st Street, Keystone for an unpaid water bill. Motion carried. All voted aye

Tyler Franzenburg addressed the council asking what the City concerns are terminating his lease on the 4.75 acres on the west edge of Keystone. Discussion was had with weed control and possibly turning the area into green space. No other reasons were given.

Motion made by Behrens, second by Upah to approve February 4, 2021 the date for a public hearing for the Max Debt. Motion carried. All voted aye.

Motion made by Behrens, second by Janss to approve the bills as read. Motion carried. All voted aye.

A special Council Meeting will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 5pm. The next regular council meeting will be February 4, 2021 at 6pm.

Motion made by Kaiser, second by Upah, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. All voted aye.
