Benton Community’s Jenna Twedt had 15 points. Zoey Junge had seven rebounds. Emma Townsley had three assists. Grace Embretson had three steals. Benton (11-3) was 15 of 29 for field goals, 6 of 12 for three-pointers, and 5 of 8 for free throws. The team had 24 rebounds, eight assists, three steals, one block, 16 turnovers and 10 fouls. CPU (11-2) was 14 of 46 from the field, 2 of 15 for three-pointers, and 8 of 9 for free throws. They had 22 rebounds, seven assists, nine steals, two blocks, 11 turnovers and 12 fouls. Ryley Gobble had 23 for CPU.

Benton (12-3) was led by Jenna Twedt with 30 points. She was 4 of 7 for three-pointers. Zoey Junge had nine rebounds. With two assists each were Twedt, Grace Embretson and Piper Nelson. Emma Townsley had three steals. Twedt also had two blocks. The team was 9 of 32 for field goals, 5 o 21 for three-pointers, and 25 of 32 for free throws. The team had 30 rebounds, seven assists, 10 steals, 17 turnovers and 20 fouls.

Williamsburg was led by Carly Rich with 17 points. The team was 9 of 34 for field goals, 1 of 8 for three-pointers, and 16 of 21 for free throws. They had 25 rebounds, four assists, 14 steals, two blocks, 19 turnovers and 20 fouls.

Emma Townsley led Benton (13-3) with 10 points. Jessa DeMoss had five rebounds. Jenna Twedt had three assists. Townsley also had five steals. Alyssa Tegeler had three blocks. Benton was 23 of 49 for field goals, 8 of 15 for three -pointers, and 10 of 16 for free throws. Benton had 32 rebounds, 13 assists, 14 steals, three blocks, 10 turnovers and 11 fouls against Union (4-10).

Brigitte Rohrer led Union with 11 points. They were 12 of 39 for field goals, 2 of 8 for three-pointers, and 5 of 10 for free throws. Union had 19 rebounds, 10 assists, four steals, two blocks, and 23 turnovers.

They host Independence (4-11) on Monday, Jan. 24, and travel to South Tama (1-15) on Tuesday, Jan. 25.

Harris had four steals. With three steals each were Evan Daugherty and Owen Tjelmeland. The team was 18 of 42 for field goals, 6 of 17 for three-pointers, and 13 of 17 for free throws. They had 18 rebounds, nine assists, 13 steals, on block, 15 turnovers and 12 fouls.

TJ Freeland scored 20 for Union. The team was 17 of 41 for field goals, 4 of 16 for three-pointers, and 16 of 14 for free throws. They had 39 rebounds, nine assists, three steals, two blocks, 13 turnovers and 11 fouls.

Benton travels to Independence (7-7) on Monday, Jan. 24, hosts South Tama (1-13) on Tuesday, Jan. 25, and travels to Solon (9-6) on Friday, Jan. 28.

Kade Hall led English Valleys (8-6) with 26 points. The team was 14 of 42 for field goals, 3 of 9 for three-pointers, and 17 of 18 for free throws. The team had 23 rebounds, seven assists, nine steals, one block, 13 turnovers and no fouls.

Belle Plaine (9-5) hosts Tri-County (0-6) on Tuesday, Jan. 25. They host Sigourney (9-6) on Friday, Jan. 28.
