Plainsmen lose in overtime at Madrid

Belle Plaine’s Cejay Mumby was one for four in passing for 40 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Belle Plaine rushed for 255 yards, led by Ty Alcott, with 27 carries, 125 yards and one touchdown. Connor Timm and 18 carries for 116 yards. Cejay Mumby had one carry for two yards and one touchdown. Brooks DeMeulenaere had three carriers for 12 yards. Sam DeMeulenaere had one catch for 40 yards and a touchdown.

Chase Wickwire had 7.5 total tackles, with three solo tackles. Alcott had seven tackles and three solo tackles. 

Sam DeMeulenaere had one interception. Brooks DeMeulenaere had three kick returns for 32 yards. Lane Vokoun had three returns for 32 yards. Wickwire had five kickoffs for 159 yards. Alcott had two punts for 82 yards.

Madrid was 8 of 13 for passing for 75 yards. They had one interception. Madrid had 224 yards rushing, led by Preston Wicker with 78.
