Belle Plaine Festival of Trees and Bake Sale November 25 and 26

Come vote for your favorite tree, but be prepared as the competition will be stiff!

Belle Plaine Area businesses, organizations, and residents are turning up the creativity for two great causes, with proceeds from the event benefiting the Belle Plaine Area Ambulance and the Wallace & Beverly Winkie Foundation scholarship fund. You’ll see trees decorated with themes ranging from medical to hardware to Belle Plaine history and everything in between.

While you browse the trees and decide on your favorite, you can enjoy free coffee or hot cider and sign up for one of the many great door prizes. You’ll also have a chance to bid on trees through the silent auction. And be sure to visit the bake sale, where you can buy delicious cookies, brownies, bars, cakes, pies, tarts, and lots more.

The event is happening Friday, November 25 from 2 – 9 pm, and Saturday, November 26 from 9 – 9 pm., at the Hope Lodge, 805 11th St, Belle Plaine. For more information on who’s bringing in trees and all the prizes to win, visit our Facebook event page.
