Benton hosts Independence (5-7) on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at Van Horne. They play in a girl/boy doubleheader on Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, at Vinton-Shellsburg (6-4). The game starts at 6:30 p.m.

Noah Franck scored 16 for Benton. Blake Daugherty added 11 points. Lane Kaestner had six rebounds. Cael Kaestner had three assists and two steals. Franck had two blocks.

Jake Benzing led Solon with 15 points. Gehrig Turner and Sean Stahle added 12 points each.

Benton travels to Independence (4-7) on Tuesday, Jan. 10. They travel to Vinton-Shellsburg (2-7) on Friday, Jan. 13. The game starts at 7:15 p.m.
