Jenna Twedt led Benton with 28 points. Piper Nelson added 10 points. Nelson also had seven rebounds. Twedt had four assists. Vinton-Shellsburg statistics are coming.

Benton hosts No. 13 West Liberty (12-5) on Monday, Feb. 6. They then host South Tama (1-17) on Tuesday, Feb. 7. Tournament action begins on Saturday, Feb. 11, when they face Anamosa (1-17) at Anamosa. The game starts at 7 p.m.
