Blairstown Council met at city hall on May 8, 2023

BLAIRSTOWN COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS –May 8, 2023

The regular meeting of the Blairstown City Council was held Monday, May 8, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. Members present were Metz, Becker, Davidson, Mokas and Hagen.

Meeting was called to order by Mayor Kubichek.

Motion made by Mokas, seconded by Metz to approve the agenda as read. All Ayes.

Motion made by Mokas, seconded by Hagen to approve the April 10th minutes. All Ayes.

Motion made by Metz, seconded by Hagen to approve the April Financial Reports. All Ayes.

Motion made by Mokas, seconded by Davidson to approve the following submitted and added bills. All Ayes.

The monthly Library Report was given.

The monthly Ambulance Report was given. Motion made by Davidson, seconded by Mokas to approve William White as an Ambulance Crew member. All Ayes. Motion made by Davidson, seconded by Mokas to approve the new Ambulance Fees. All Ayes.

The monthly Fire Report was given.

The monthly Maintenance Report was given. Discussion was held about updates to the Water Treatment Plant and the retaining wall at the community building.

A public hearing was opened at 7:27. Discussion was held about the FY22-23 Budget Amendment. With no public or written comment, the public hearing was closed.

Motion made by Davidson, seconded by Mokas to approve Resolution 23-06: FY22-23 Budget Amendment approval. All Ayes.

No further business, meeting adjourned at 7:31 p.m.
