BLAIRSTOWN COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS –April 13, 2026
The regular meeting of the Blairstown City Council was held Monday, April 13, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.
Members present were Moenck, Becker, Hagen, Hendryx and Franzen. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Metz. Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Becker to approve the agenda as read. All Ayes.
Motion made by Becker, seconded by Franzen to approve the March 9th minutes. All Ayes.
Motion made by Becker, seconded by Franzen to approve the March 23rd minutes. All Ayes.
Motion made by Becker, seconded by Franzen to approve the March 23rd second meeting minutes. All Ayes.
Motion made by Becker, seconded by Hagen to approve the March Financial Reports. All Ayes.
Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Becker to approve the following submitted and added bills. All Ayes.

The monthly Maintenance Report was given.
Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Franzen to submit a permit to Benton County for culvert/storm sewer installation. All Ayes.
The monthly Library Report was given.
The monthly Ambulance Report was given.
The monthly Fire Department Report was given.
The monthly First Responders Report was given.
The monthly Blairstown Emergency Services building update was given.
Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Franzen to approve a liquor license for The Meat Locker pending the submission of all paperwork. All Ayes.
Motion made by Franzen, sec- onded by Hagen to open a public hearing for the FY26-27 Budget. All Ayes. Discussion was held about the FY26-27 Budget.
Motion made by Franzen, seconded by Hagen to close the public hearing. All Ayes.
Motion made by Becker, sec- onded by Franzen to approve Resolution 26-04: Approval of FY26-27 Budget. All Ayes.
Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Franzen to approve Resolution 26-05: Street Closure. All Ayes.
Motion made by Becker, seconded by Moenck to approve warning siren testing on the first Wednes-day of each month at 8:45 am with Benton County Emergency Management. All Ayes.
Motion made by Becker, seconded by Hagen to approve special circumstance walking in the gym during the week when there are no rentals with a filled out rental agreement. All Ayes.
