VINTON – Transportation staffing and a lease with ASAC were approved by the Benton County Board of Supervisors at their meeting Tuesday, May 26, at the Benton County Service Center in Vinton.
The board approved having the supervisor chairman sign the East Central Iowa Council of Governments purchase of a service contract for 2027 for Benton County Transportation.
The board accepted the resignation of Randy Petersen, part-time transportation driver. They approved the hiring of Jim Frentress.
A lease agreement was approved with ASAC (Area Substance Abuse Council) in the Benton County Service Center.
A fireworks permit was approved for Prairie Creek Christian Church on July 3, 2026.
Letters to EMS (Emergency Medical Services) were approved for a 28E Agreement.
