Sophia Petsch threw for two innings, allowed three hits, seven runs (one earned), two walks, and struck out one. Lucia Timm was losing pitcher, throwing two innings, allowing six hits, five earned runs, walking one and striking out three.

Belle Plaine had 10 hits. Will Sankot was 1 for 4 with two RBIs. Mason Walter was 1 for 4 with two RBIs. Peyton Dostal was 3 for 4. Derek Kressley was 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. Quentin O’Leary had a double. Bryer Kressley was 2 for 4 with four RBIs. Belle Plaine stole eight bases, led by Dostal and Quentin O’Leary with two each. With one each were Wade Sankot, Walter, Kressley, Bryer Kressley and Hayden Neuhaus.

The team had no errors.

Winning pitcher Wade Sankot threw for five innings, allowed eight hits, four earned runs, walked one and struck out eight. O’Leary threw for two innings, allowed on hit, walked three and struck out two.

Belle Plaine travels to North Mahaska on Wednesday and HLV on Friday.
