BLAIRSTOWN COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS –July 13, 2026 The regular meeting of the Blairstown City Council was held Monday, July 13, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

Members present were Moenck, Hagen, Becker, Hendryx and Franzen.

Meeting was called to order by Mayor Metz. Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Becker to approve the agenda as read. All Ayes.

Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Franzen to approve the June 8th minutes. All Ayes.

Motion made by Franzen, seconded by Hagen to approve the June Financial Reports. All Ayes.

Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Franzen to approve the following submitted and added bills. All Ayes.

Public Participation: Glenn Rammelsberg was present to discuss water bill due dates and ask about ATV/UTV and golf cart licenses. Cathy Miller talked about lawn mowing and sidewalk issues. Jenna Otto talked about fireworks con- cerns, alley concerns and Chase/ Cedar Street stop sign needs. Jenna Otto discussed with the council about a possible market in town and the possibility to hold it at the city park.

The monthly Maintenance Report was given.

Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Hendryx to proceed with design option one for bridge replacement. All Ayes.

The monthly Library Report was given.

The monthly Ambulance Report was given.

The monthly Fire Department Report was given.

The monthly First Responders Report was given.

The monthly Blairstown Emergency Services building update was given.

Motion made by Becker, seconded by Moenck to approve a bid from Top Tier Arbor Care for the removal of four trees. All Ayes.

Discussion was held about the Tasha Ewert water bill.

The next regular meeting will be held August 10, 2026 at 7:00pm.

Motion made by Becker, seconded by Hagen to adjourn, meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
