BLAIRSTOWN COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS –August 10, 2026
The regular meeting of the Blairstown City Council was held Monday, August 10, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. Members present were Moenck, Becker and Franzen. Absent: Hagen and Hendryx. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Metz.
Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Franzen to approve the agenda as read. All Ayes.
Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Franzen to approve the July 13th minutes. All Ayes.
Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Franzen to approve the July Financial Reports. All Ayes.
Motion made by Becker, seconded by Moenck to approve the following submitted and added bills. All Ayes.

The monthly Maintenance Report was given. The monthly Library Report was given. The monthly Ambulance Report was given. The monthly Fire Department Report was given. The monthly First Responders Report was given. The monthly Blairstown Emergency Services building update was given.
Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Franzen to approve a building permit for Jay Fisher for a garage addition. All Ayes.
Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Franzen to approve a building permit for Dan Newton for a house addition. All Ayes.
Discussion was held about the Chase/Cedar Street intersection.
Motion made by Becker, seconded by Moenck to approve liquor licenses for Kraut days pending submission of all paperwork. All Ayes.
Motion made by Becker, seconded by Franzen to approve Resolution 26-11: Street Closures. All Ayes.
The next regular meeting will be held September 14, 2026 at 7:00pm.
Motion made by Franzen, seconded by Moenck to adjourn, meeting adjourned at 7:31 p.m.
