Benton Community’s boys’ basketball team (2-3) took two overtimes to get a WaMaC win over Solon (1-2). Turner Schroeder led Benton with 21, including 3 three-pointers. Grant Embretson added 10 points. With 7 rebounds each were Schroeder and Embretson. Brady Sadler had 6 assists. Schroeder had 7 steals. Embretson blocked 4 shots for Benton. The team was 16 of 41 from the field, 7 of 23 for three-pointers and 18 of 35 for three-pointers. They had 35 rebounds.
