Luke DeMeulenaere scored 19 points to lead Belle Plaine at Don Bosco. He also had 5 rebounds. With 3 assists each were Jaxon Kressley and Lance Van Nevel. Van Nevel and DeMeulenaere had 2 steals each. Ben DeMeulenaere blocked two shots. The team was 16 of 36 for field goals, 5 of 11 for three-pointers and 10 of 16 for free throws. The team had 17 rebounds. Don Bosco was 21 of 48 from the field, 8 of 24 for three-pointers and 7 of 12 from the line. Don Bosco had 32 rebounds.

Ben DeMeulenaere led Belle Plaine with 21 points. Luke DeMeulenaere added 19 and Lance Van Nevel had 12. Ben DeMeulenaere also had 13 rebounds. Jackson Tegeler had 5 assists. Trevin Straight had 4 steals. Ben DeMeulenaere also blocked two shots. The team was 30 of 66 from the field, 2 of 10 for three-pointers, and 11 of 22 for free throws. The team had 42 rebounds. Tri-County was 20 of 55 for field goals, 7 of 25 for three-pointers, and 7 of 19 from the line. Tri-County had 30 rebounds.

Leading the way for Belle Plaine was Luke DeMeulenaere. Rounding out the balanced scoring were Jackson Tegeler with 10, Ben DeMeulenaere with 13 and Noah Bachelder with 14, including 4 of 5 shooting for three-pointers. Ben DeMeulenaere had 15 rebounds. Trevin Straight and Lance Van Nevel had 4 assists each. Straight had 3 steals. Ben DeMeulenaere had 6 blocks. The team was 20 of 44 from the field, 5 of 12 for three-pointers and 20 of 42 for free throws. The team had 42 rebounds.

Alyssa Tegeler had 12 points for Belle Plaine. Adding 10 each were Jenna Fry and Bree Shaull. Abbie Sieck had 11 rebounds. Olivia Bohlen had 8 assists and 5 steals. Tegeler also blocked 2 shots. The team was 19 of 59 for field goals, 1 of 3 for three-pointers and 13 of 26 from the line. The team had 43 rebounds.

Having a big night was Alyssa Tegeler with 21 points for Belle Plaine, along with 10 rebounds. Bree Shaull added 10 points. Bohlen had 11 assists. With 5 steals each were Bohlen and Tegeler. Jenna Fry blocked 2 shots. The team was 19 of 489 from the field, 1 of 11 for 3-pointers and 10 of 21 for free throws. The team had 31 rebounds. Tri-County was 11 of 48 for field goals, 4 of 17 for three-pointers and 4 of 11 from the line. Tri-County had 27 rebounds on the night.

Alyssa Tegeler scored 15 for Belle Plaine. Tor Hlas added 11. Tegeler had 20 rebounds and Hlas had 10. With 4 assists each were Olivia Bohlen and Jenna Fry. Bree Shaull had 2 steals. Tegeler also blocked 5 shots. The team was 15 of 51 for field goals, 2 of 6 for three-pointers and 12 of 26 for free throws. The team had 56 rebounds. BGM was 17 of 57 for field goals, 2 of 18 for three-pointers and 12 of 25 for free throws. The team had 29 rebounds.

Benton Community used a strong first quarter to roll by Williamsburg in WaMaC action in Van Horne on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Jenna Twedt led Benton with 21 points. Kayla Lambe added 13. Alyse Harvey had 6 rebounds. Twedt had 5 assists and 5 steals. Lauren Woeste and Lambe blocked one shot each. The team was 19 of 43 for field goals, 6 of 20 for three-pointers, and 9 of 12 for free throws. The team collected 27 rebounds.

Grant Embretson had 9 points for Benton Community, followed by Brady Sadler with 8. Embretson had 7 rebounds. Turner Schroeder dished out 3 assists. With 2 steals each were Sadler and Embretson. Blocking 1 shot each were Jaxon Snitker and Embretson. The team was 15 of 40 for field goals, 4 of 14 for three-pointers and 8 of 15 for free throws. Benton had 26 rebounds. Williamsburg was 17 of 48 for field goals, 8 of 20 for three-pointers and 12 of 15 for free throws. The Raiders had 32 rebounds. They were led by Kaden Wetjen with 15 points.

Friday, Dec. 20, vs. Vinton-Shellsburg

Grant Embretson had 13 points to lead Benton. Blake Osborn added 10 points. Embretson also had 8 rebounds, as did Turner Schroeder. Brady Sadler had 4 assists. Drew Lange helped with 2 steals. Embretson blocked one shot. The team was 16 of 41 shooting from the field, 4 of 14 for three-pointers and 17 of 30 for free throws. Benton had 38 rebounds. The Vikings were 17 of 48 from the field, 11 of 31 for three-pointers, and 3 of 6 for three throws. They had 25 rebounds. Sam Griffith led with 17 points.
