The Belle Plaine Plainsmen rolled by Pekin in a Class A District football game, Friday, Oct. 8, at Pekin.

Benton DeMeulenaere was 2 for 3 in passing for 26 yards. Belle Plaine rushed for 396 yards. Connor Timm carried 10 times for 171 yards and three touchdowns, including a 55-yard socring run. Brooks DeMeulenaere had 10 carries for 97 yards and a 34-yard scoring run. Ty Alcott carried 10 times for 95 yards. Gavin Ward caught one pass for four yards. Alcott caught one for 22 yards.

Eli Ehlen had 5.5 total tackles. With four solo tackles each were Gavin Ward and Ehlen. Ehlen also had two sacks and three tackles for loss. Ehlen also recovered a fumble for Belle Plaine. Brooks DeMeulenaere had one kickoff return for five yards. Timm had one punt return for 15 yards. DeMeulenaere punted once for 44 yards. Scoring on two-point conversions were Timm, Joe Randall, Ben DeMeulenaere, Brooks DeMeulenaere and Alcott.

Pekin passed for 0 yards, and had 24 yards rushing.

Belle Plaine (6-1) hosts No. 21 Lynnville-Sully (5-1) on Friday, Oct. 15.
