Benton Community rolled to a 70-33 over Beckman at home on Tuesday, Nov. 30.

Benton was 28 of 55 for field goals, 11 of 28 for three-pointers, and 3 of 6 for free throws. The team had 31 rebounds, 19 assists, 20 steals, five blocks and 16 turnovers. Jenna Twedt had 21 points to lead Benton. McKenna Kramer added 13 points. Alyssa Tegeler had six rebounds. With five each were Zoey Junge and Piper Nelson. Nelson also had five assists. Twedt had four steals. Tegeler blocked two shots.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, at Dyersville

BC 10 13 14 10 – 47

Benton Community lost its first WaMaC game of the season in boys’ basketball on Tuesday Nov. 30, against Beckman.

Evan Daugherty led Benton with 14 points. Aiden Harris added 11. Harris also had five rebounds. Isaac Cretin had three assists, as did Daugherty. Daugherty also had three steals. The team was 18 of 36 for field goals, 5 of 10 for three pointers, and 6 of 10 for free throws. Benton had 21 rebounds, nine assists, five steals and 22 turnovers.
