The Benton County Redistricting Committee will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. in the Benton County Service Center Conference Room, 811 D Ave, Vinton, IA, to hear comments or objections to the proposed supervisor districts. The proposed districts are as follows:

Corrected Description

District 1 – All of the following townships and cities in Benton County, Iowa:
Harrison, Polk-Urbana, and Taylor-Vinton
Total Population-8,541

District 2 – All of the following townships and cities in Benton County, Iowa:
Bruce, Cedar-Mt. Auburn, Jackson-Garrison, Benton, Big Grove, Eden, Canton-Shellsburg, Eldorado-Newhall, and Fremont-Atkins
Total Population-8,582

District 3 – All of the following townships and cities in Benton County, Iowa:
Monroe, Homer, Kane-Keystone, Union-Van Horne, Iowa-Belle Plaine, Luzerne, Leroy-Blairstown, St. Clair, Florence-Norway, and Walford
Total Population-8,452
