Budget Work Session
Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 2:30 p.m.
Mayor Bruce Visser called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m. Present were Koehn, Petersen, and Stoltzfus. Also present was Groskurth and members of the public. Bell and DeMeulenaere were absent.
The Max Levy document did not pass February 22, 2022. This reduced proposed revenues for the FYE 2023 by $65K. The council reviewed several budget options to determine how to proceed with the loss of revenues. Council discussed using debt service levy for the GO Sewer Bond.
Mayor Visser deemed meeting adjourned.
Meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m.

Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 6:30 p.m.
Mayor Pro-Tem Petersen called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Present were Koehn, Petersen, Stoltzfus and Bell. Also present was Groskurth and members of the public. DeMeulenaere were absent.
The Max Levy document did not pass February 22, 2022. This reduced proposed revenues for the FYE 2023 by $65K. Council was informed a request to place Max Levy Resolution on the Agenda for reconsideration had been received. The council reviewed budget options requested, options reviewed were without Max Levy Revenues and with Max Levy Revenues. Council discussed using debt service levy for the GO Sewer Bond.
The March 8, 2022 agenda will include, reconsideration of Max Levy resolution and Resolution directing Notice of Hearing to be published and setting Hearing date to be March 22, 2022.
Mayor Pro-Tem Petersen deemed meeting adjourned.
Meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
