Belle Plaine gets big district win over Colfax-Mingo

Colfax-Mingo had 111 yards passing and seven yards rushing.

Cejay Mumby was 1 for 2 in passing for nine yards. Ty Alcott had one catch.

Belle Plaine rushed for 449 yards. Ty Alcott had 17 carries for 220 yards and three touchdowns. His longest run was for 27 yards. Wade Sankot had 10 carries for 82 yards and two touchdowns, the longest being 52 yards. Brooks DeMeulenaere had four carries for 44 yards with one touchdown run for 33 yards. Jeremy Reineke had six carries for 76 yards and a touchdown run of 11 yards. Sam DeMeulenaere had a touchdown run for 27 yards.

With 4.5 total tackles each were Lane Vokoun and Chase Wickwire. Voukon had four solo tackles. Sankot had one sack.

Alcott had two interceptions for 20 yards. Reineke had one interception for a 33-yard touchdown. Sam DeMeulenaere also had an interception.
