Tuesday, September 13, 2022
Mayor Bruce Visser called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Present were Bell, DeMeulenaere, Koehn, Petersen, and Stoltzfus. Also, present were Eric Martin, City Attorney, Groskurth and members of the public.
Koehn moved to approve the agenda. Stoltzfus seconded. Ayes: Bell, DeMeulenaere, Koehn,
Petersen, Stoltzfus. Motion carried.
Koehn moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Petersen seconded. Ayes: Bell ,

Mayor Visser and Groskurth gave 2022 Street Maintenance Plan is nearing completion.
Stoltzfus moved to approve Resolution 983 approving FY 2023 LIHWAP Vendor Agreement:
Water Utility Vendor Agreement Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program. Koehn
seconded. Ayes: Bell, DeMeulenaere, Koehn, Petersen, Stoltzfus. Motion carried.
DeMeulenaere moved to approve Resolution 984 approving conditions of sale of the 2001
International Fire Truck. Koehn seconded. Ayes: Bell, DeMeulenaere, Koehn, Petersen,
Stoltzfus. Motion Carried.
Mayor Visser and Groskurth gave update regarding Waste Management contract.
Mayor Visser and Groskurth gave the following reports:
Public Works: Continue with street maintenance. Flushing hydrants.
Fire Station: architect developing plans and specifications.
Arborists: is on board to assist with city owned trees and emerald ash borer.
Legal team: Is assisting with Waste Management contract, and Fire District agreement.
Administration: working with department heads and engineer to develop capital
improvement plans for city infrastructure. Nuisance abatements.
No public comments were made.
The next regular council meeting to held Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. City
Hall/Library 480 3rd Avenue, City Council Room.
Koehn moved to adjourn. Stoltzfus seconded. Ayes: Bell, DeMeulenaere, Koehn, Petersen,
Stoltzfus. Motion carried. Adjournment time was 7:01 p.m.
