Benton was 20 of 46 for field goals, 5 of 21 for three throws, and 12 of 26 for free throws. Benton had 34 rebounds, 11 assists, 11 steals, four blocks, seven turnovers and 18 fouls. With 18 points each were McKenna Kramer and Jenna Twedt. Kramer had four three-pointers. With seven rebounds each were Twedt and Zoey Junge. Twedt had six assists and four steals. Piper Nelson and Twedt had two blocks each.

West Delaware was 15 of 51 for field goals, 4 of 22 for three-pointers, and 11 of 18 for free throws. The team had 37 rebounds, eight assists, four steals, five blocks, 13 turnovers. and19 fouls. Brooke Krogman had 15 points for West Delaware.

Benton travels to Mount Pleasant (1-4) on Monday, Dec. 12, hosts Marion (3-2) on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, and travels to Williamsburg (0-4) on Friday, Dec. 16.

Benton was 17 of 43 for field goals, 7 of 19 for three-pointers and 10 of 17 for free throws. They had 21 rebounds, eight assists, six steals, three blocks, 13 turnovers and seven fouls. Noah Franck had 15 points. Blake Daugherty added 12. Franck also had four rebounds. With two assists each were Lane Kaestner and Easton Patterson. With two steals each were Evan Daugherty and Qunicy Gilbert. Tim Thompson blocked two shots.

West Delaware was 28 of 61 from the field, 15 of 34 for three-pointers, and 3 of 4 for free throws. They had 37 rebounds, 18 assists, 10 steals, on block, 10 turnovers and 16 fouls. Bryce Smith led West Delaware with 16 points.

Benton travels to Mount Pleasant (1-2) on Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, travels to Marion (1-1) on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, and hosts Williamsburg (0-1) on Friday, Dec. 16.
