Belle Plaine wins first round of 1A tournament

Sam DeMeulenaere led Belle Plaine with 12 points, and Brooks DeMeulenaere added 11. Riley Simmons had 13 points. Ty Alcott added 12. With five assists each were Wyatt Kuch and Alcott. Alcott also had three steals. Simmons had three blocks. Brooks DeMeulenaere had two.

Belle Plaine travels to Keota (20-3) on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023.
