City Council Regular Meeting
May 22, 2023 – 6:00 PM
Mayor Boddicker brought the regular meeting to order.
Roll Call: Council Present: Campbell, Cross, Wendel, Rinderknecht
Approval of the Agenda: Motion by Wendel, 2nd by Rinderknecht, all yes, motion carried.
Public Forum: Resident was present asking about weeds in neighbor’s yard. Weeds blow over to her yard and replant and grow. She was told that a meeting will be held the 24th with the city attorney regarding several yards in town that are also allowing this to happen.
Department Reports:
Public Works: Trugreen was here spraying; parts on order for Cooksley ditch; working on quotes for mulch and truck.
Mayor: Post ordinance for mowing; and city nuisances.
Parks: Will get quote to paint pickle court.
Library: Tai-Chi classes every Wednesday at 1:30 for 12 weeks. Last week was 1st class and 15 people attended.
Zoning: Approved fence was put up possibly in wrong location, will speak to homeowner.
Consent Agenda and Bill Consent: Motion by Campbell, 2nd by Cross to approve the minutes from May 8, 2023, and bills totaling $175,788.44.

a) Motion by Wendel, 2nd by Cross approving quote from DSG for wall pipe and accessories, all yes, motion carried.
b) Motion by Rinderknecht, 2nd by Wendel approving Dan Heren to the Rec Board, all yes, motion carried.
c) Motion by Campbell, 2nd by Cross approving Jordan Haerther to the Fire Department, all yes, motion carried.
Adjournment: At 6:29 PM, Rinderknecht moved to adjourn, Cross 2nd, all yes, motion carried.
