The regular meeting of the Blairstown City Council was held Monday, May 11, 2026 at 7:00
p.m. Members present were Moenck, Becker, Hagen, Hendryx and Franzen.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Metz.
Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Franzen to approve the agenda as read. All Ayes.
Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Becker to approve the April 13th minutes. All Ayes.
Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Becker to approve the April Financial Reports. All Ayes.
Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Franzen to approve the following submitted and added bills.

Melinda Schoettmer was present to introduce herself and talk about her running in the primary election.
The monthly Maintenance Report was given. Discussion was held about the bridge replacement.
The monthly Library Report was given.
The monthly Ambulance Report was given. Motion made by Becker, seconded by Franzen to approve the
ambulance crew pay as presented. All Ayes.
The monthly Fire Department Report was given. Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Franzen to approve Paxton Marek and Logan Bishop as new members. All Ayes.
Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Franzen to approve Tucker Wagner as a junior member. All Ayes.
The monthly First Responders Report was given.
The monthly Blairstown Emergency Services building update was given.
Motion made by Hagen, seconded by Moenck to approve a building permit for Braden Parr for a deck. All Ayes.
Motion made by Franzen, seconded by Hagen to open a public hearing for the FY25-26 Budget Amendment at 8:00. All Ayes. Discussion was held about the FY25-26 Budget Amendment. Motion made by Moenck, seconded by Franzen to close the public hearing at 8:05. All Ayes.
Motion made by Becker, seconded by Franzen to approve Resolution 26-06: Approval of FY25-26 Budget Amendment. All Ayes.
Discussion was held about problem trees around town.
The next regular meeting will be held June 8, 2026 at 7:00pm.
Motion made by Becker, seconded by Hagen to adjourn, meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.

PROCEEDINGS –May 23, 2024
The special meeting of the Blairstown City Council was held Monday, May 23, 2024 at 6:30 p.m.
Members present were Metz, Dellamuth, Becker and Hagen. Absent: Davidson.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Kubichek.
Motion made by Dellamuth, seconded by Metz to approve the agenda as read. All Ayes.
Brian and Kathryn Pisch were present to appeal the removal of their two dogs. Discussion was held
between the council and the Pisch’s about the issue.
Davidson arrived at 6:50 pm.
No action was taken by the council.
No further business, meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
