Keystone High School All School Reunion was held this past Saturday, August 13, at Keystone’s Turner Hall, with approximately 165 Keystone Komets graduates and spouses in attendance. Originally organized by Bill Boehmke, a 1946 graduate, Big Bear, CA., the reunion was formerly held every five years.
Keystone Consolidated School was organized in 1910 and student population became a part of Benton Community High School, following the 1964 graduation! With a dwindling number of graduates, since the most recent were in 1964, this reunion is now held every two years. Reunion co-chairs are Rita Selk Pickering and Sandy Pickering Points. A catered meal was provided by Smoken on the Cedar, Vinton.
The afternoon was spent socially, following welcoming remarks from founder, Bill Boehmke and Sandy Pickering Points.
